How do you clean spilled soda off a photograph?

I stupidly spilled coca cola on a sentimental photograph. It's a standard 4x6 kodak glossy paper photo. The photo still looks good, but on closer examination it has congealed soda globs and marks all over it. I've already scanned it in to my computer, but would still like to save the paper version.
