How do you lose weight in your chest area?

I am a bridesmaid and the wedding is in April. I just got my dress (it's an empress waist), and it won't zip my chest in. There is about two inches that it would need to come in. Otherwise, the dress fits fine. I don't want to alter it, I have to lose weight anyway, any suggestions?
