Help for cats with loose stools?

You can try an organic herb called Slippery Elm. Its an old wives remedy for gastrointestinal issues. I give two capsules a day to my cat who has had chronic diarrhea for well over two years. I took him to the vet and did the blood tests, food trials, allergy tests, intestinal biopsies, pro-biotics and steroids (prednisone) and so far that has been one of the things that has worked for me (the other being a more expensive steroid called prednisolone, its easier to absorb into the system). I just open the capsules and mix them in with some wet cat food and make sure that he eats it all.
